Introducing the 2008 Hells Canyon Junior Rodeo Royal Court
Princess Adora Luebberke - Howdy all you cowgirls and cowboys!!
My name is Adora Luebberke, and I am your 2007-2008 Hells Canyon Jr. Rodeo Princess. I am a student at Pine Eagle School and will be a freshmen this coming school year. Some of my favorite pass times are fishing with my dad, singing to the radio with my mom and friends, and riding my awesome horse.
The horse that I am riding this year is named Beda Watch Me but we just know her as Becky. I have been training Becky for four years with the help of my trainer Leslie Davis. I think that she is finally ready to rodeo.
There are a lot of people I would like to thank, my parents Dale & Tera Luebberke for all their support and taking me to the various rodeos. Dave & Konia Rich for all their support and help, even though they didn’t have to too. A special thank you to my Grandma Jill for all her help at the rodeos and setting up the tent. I would like to thank my Uncle Chet and his friend Charlie for the saddle that I am riding this year. J.R. Lavager for our chaps, Blue Mountain Embroidery for our stashes and jackets, LaRee Robinette as our court adviser, and the Hells Canyon Riders for giving me this opportunity to represent the Hells Canyon Jr. Rodeo, as well as the community for all their support.
Last, but not least, I would like to give a special thanks to those in the armed forces (Uncle Rodney) who are protecting us while we rodeo.
Now lets get the livestock in the shoots & Let ‘er buck

Princess Malia Rich - Welcome Rodeo Fans!
My name is Malia Rich and I am the princess for the Hells Canyon JR Rodeo. I was elected by the Hells Canyon Riders board to serve another year as Princess, to assist Princess Adora in this year’s court responsibilities.
I am 16 years old and I attend Vale High School. My favorite subjects are cadet teaching and weights. My hobbies consist of horseback riding, camping in the back country, welding with my dad and four-wheeling with my friends.
This year there was an untimely accident that took the life of a former HCJR Queen, Kirian Kossler. She touched my heart as a close friend and mentor; if you look at our flowers on our sashes there is a single red rose in memory of her.
I would like to thank Tera (mama T), Jill, a.k.a. Grandma, My mom, Konia (mama K) for all their hard work in making this year a total blast for Adora and I, my family for all their support, my Dad, Dave for his support and help in shaping our hats and tooling our name plates on our serapes. Thank you to Dale Luebberke for fixing the door on the court horse trailer, all the Rodeo Board and members for allowing me to represent this rodeo once again. I would also like to thank Deania Corrigan for putting on the play days and our program books together, to our Court Advisor LaRee Robinette. A very special thank you to J.R. Lavager for doing our gorgeous looking chinks and for the use of his speedy horse Raz, I am riding him do to loss of a very close friend on April 9th, my own horse Leo. I would like to thank Blue Mountain Design for all of their much appreciated embroidery work, and a very special thank you to all of our rodeo sponsors in the program and on the trailer for all of their support in make this rodeo possible for us.
It’s time to dust off our saddles and rodeo!
